ARASOLIS CUSHION

The arasolis cushion is knitted by hand using the XXL knit technique in artisanal merino wool from traditional peninsular grazing. the colors white and brown are the natural colors of merino sheep.
The arasolis cushion is inspired by the tradition of the Ara solis, an altar located in Fisterra dedicated to the sun and fertility.
Interior lined with Gots certified cotton and sheep wool.

The arasolis cushion is knitted by hand using the XXL knit technique directly with the wool wick. This wool is only combed retaining the soft and fluffy appearance of untwisted wool.
The arasolis cushion is inspired by the myth of the Ara solis, a pre-Roman sanctuary dedicated to the Sun and fertility located in Fisterra.
The outer wool is artisan merino wool of Extremadura origin from traditional transhumance and extensive grazing, on a smaller scale, more sustainable and ecological. The interior is made with GOTS certified organic cotton lining and filled with sheep wool.
The white and brown colors are the natural colors of the merino sheep, the brown color being typical of the black merino race, endemic to the Iberian Peninsula, almost extinct and currently in the process of recovery.
The measures approx. They are 35 – 40cm in diameter x 15cm wide.
