Pea earrings are inspired by the beauty of everyday objects and the products of the earth. In Galicia, peas are one of the foods that mark the beginning of Summer. It is common for people who have land to plant them or to find them in the food courts and markets with their pods, and it is typical to give them the young ones to keep them entertained while threshing them.
